Lieutenant Ray’s Personal Log

My father used to “watch” Star Trek TOS while asleep in his recliner. I had to drag Jim kicking and screaming to watch TNG in the wood burning basement of his family home when it first aired, purist that he was. And we suffered Dr. Dillion and Star Trek and the Modern Man through a semester at Cal U, or Harvard on the Styx. Sisko always resonated with me, especially being a single dad with my son, Drake (which is not only phonetically similar but Drake is tall, thin, and intelligent). I had to run a company, a school, a rehab center, and then a resort spa. I get the idea of being a reluctant commander. Regardless, DS9 has the most developed and real cast and supports that I have ever seen in SciFi. I look forward to the re-watch and the comments from everyone.
