Ray’s Take on Episode 3: “A Man Alone”

Dax’s meditation puzzle looks fun and complicated. I’d like to give it a try.
The interaction between Quark and Odo is always entertaining and enjoyable. The verbal fencing is very well done.
Keiko is a spitfire. And I concur wholeheartedly with coupling resulting in too many compromises.
Fun Fact: Originally, there was going to be a monorail on the Promenade. MONORAIL! (Simpsons reference)
Odo would make a great Judge. Ibudan is a total snake.

As a massage therapist, I am offended by what they are showing as massage. It’s disgraceful. Lol.
Online learning issues anticipated our pandemic problems.
I love a classic Locked Room Murder Mystery.
The Rom and Keiko interaction emphasizes how vital education is, for everyone.
Quark vouching for Odo is brilliant. He gives respect where it’s due, I gather.
The technobabble is surprisingly accurate regarding biology.
- If Maximum Clonage (A very unfortunate Spider-Man “epic.”) taught us anything, it was that clones ultimately suck.
The witch hunt mob is far too accurate, unfortunately. I guess people haven’t evolved much…
Teachers ROCK! And parents trying to keep their children from a bad influence cuts both ways, apparently.
You have to love the symbiotic relationship between Odo and Quark. Constantly trying to thwart each other, locked in the dance, similar to Batman and the Joker. “You complete me.”
Two great episodes following a strong start-is it any wonder why I love DS9?
