Ray’s Take on Episode 11: “Vortex”

“Ferengi Hospitality” at its finest is shown in all its treacherous glory.

Being shattered has to sting, even if you ARE a changeling. By the way, I believe that this is the first use of the name.

Quark’s scheme doesn’t seem very well thought through. Perhaps he was in a rush.

I love the TOS triangular side burns. What a subtle nod to continuity. 

Croden manipulates Odo’s curiosity about his species rather nicely. Odo must have been torn between duty and curiosity.  

Vulcan Deus ex Machina!  I felt a bit let down. Yareth as Odo’s ward would have been interesting and she could have been a love interest for Jake and/or Nog.
