Alixus is the queen of exposition, much like her modern AI namesake. She’s not totally wrong. Too much reliance on technology does create a host of problems.

Hell Box, indeed. Chekov’s Rifle, anyone? I wonder who ends up in the box. This is quite the dystopian paradise.

How do you miss hitting a star with a runabout? How exactly did she manipulate the runabout, anyway? I might have missed that particular detail.
Sisko has some very strong convictions.
While well intentioned but twisted, she basically abducted everyone. It seems that Joseph and the community have some Stockholm Syndrome going on. Ten years will do that, I suppose. And the kids want tech toys, don’t you think?
