Ray’s Take on Episode 4: “Invasive Procedures”
Quark “pining for Rom” is not quite believable nor suspicious in the least. But Klingons are always a welcome sight.
John Glover played a brilliant Lionel Luthor in Smallville, but I liked him as The Devil in Brimstone. Brimstone and Reaper are two great series with a similar premise. The Devil sends a guy to recapture souls that have escaped from Hell. Brimstone is more dark and grim while Reaper is comedy gold. I mean, your dying father sells your soul to the Devil so he can live? Hilarious, right?

So, is this symbiont kidnapping or organ harvesting? Through it all, Dax is quite calm and reasonable.
Avoiding “A life of mediocrity” is how Justin DuMorne motivated a young Harry Dresden. “Flickum bickus!”
Binaural beats brainwave entrainment music is used to induce Delta waves, if anyone wants to try it out for themselves.
Kira doesn’t fare so well in melee. I still want the original Star Trek battle soundtrack. That kick to O’Brien’s shoulder was just gratuitous.
Trill are kind of gross. Here’s hoping the doctor doesn’t drop the slug. Time Lord’s have a much cleaner method for what is basically serial immortality.
Sisko plays on the newly minted Verad Dax and the former “accommodation house” prostitute rather neatly.
Quark to the rescue. Dislocated ear bones? Ferengi anatomy must be very different from human.
Sisko shoots first!
While I understand striving to be the first and best, do you ever stop and consider the ramifications and consequences for those that you beat? Food for thought.
