Ray’s Take on Episode 2.2: “The Circle”

“Bajor for Bajorans” is a common theme. Unfortunately, being more peaceful farmers, artists, architects and mystics does kind of leave a planet vulnerable to more warlike alien invaders, especially without Federation backing.

Apparently, Odo expresses affection through anger.

Bashir is often clueless. It’s a crew party in Kira’s quarters until Bariel shows up.

I know that there is a status quo to maintain, but, regardless, I admire Sisko’s grim determination to get Kira back. I wouldn’t want to be opposing him.

The Orb caskets resemble Catholic tabernacles. And the candle snuffer brings back memories of my days as an altar boy. Brrr…

The Orbs are a celestial Tinder, I guess.

Deputy Quark helps Odo yet again.  Quark is a shrewd character. 

Man, they really worked Kira over.  Li Nalas shows some backbone. 

Langella is always a great villain. Winn will always be Vedek Karen to me.  They make for a devious power couple.

The Prime Directive has often been a pain in the bottom, regardless of the Star Trek series…
